Notes

  • All rytools now implement the --first-line-colnames switch. If the first line of input is column names without any other indication (e.g., the text output of SiLK tools), the tool will read the names and use them appropriately. (When using SiLK tools as input to rytools, the user must still strip the last delimiter using --no-final-delimiter or --delimited.)
  • Bugfixes.

Notes

  • Added rycategories to package. It was mistakenly omitted from Rayon 1.2.0.
  • Font sizes can now be specified as a number, indicating the absolute size in points or pixels (whichever is the default unit for the backend). Relative font sizes are also supported.
  • Additional axis for bar plots: bar_fixup. If True the bar should be aligned such that it falls cleanly along a pixel boundary. This results in a crisp box, but can induce distortions in smaller visualizations or very narrow bars. This axis should generally either be set to one value for all points, or be associated with the same data as bar_width and be False if the bar will be exceedingly narrow.
  • Other minor bugfixes
